Wishlist Wednesday

Because on Wednesday’s the weekend is so near but yet so far, I think you all deserve a little mid-week pick-me-up! On Wishlist Wednesday’s I will be sharing my top humpday must-haves from our favourite stores as well as some advice on how to style each piece. Wrap dresses are everywhere at the moment and this one from Faithfull The Brand is one of my favourites. I saw the navy version of this dress on one of my fave bloggers, Tales of Jude, and fell in love. The wrap detail is super flattering on most body shapes and the flared sleeve and dipped hem make a subtle statement. This would look great with flat sandals on holiday or with plain white trainers for day to day wear.

These little pink beauties are the perfect summer shoe. I love the contrasting colours and the heel height is perfect to take you from day to night. These would look equally good dressed down with jeans and a tee or dressed up with a slip dress for a night out.

The denim jacket is a versatile, trans-seasonal piece that is an absolute must-have in your wardrobe. Denim jackets are especially great for Irish summers where the weather doesn’t always play ball. I love this one from & Other Stories as the faded black wash has a vintage feel and is a different take on the classic blue. This would look great styled with culottes and a tee for a laid back day time look.

 

This top has Pom Poms. Enough said! It would look great with some denim cut-offs and slides for a relaxed night time holiday look or with jeans and espadrilles here at a home.

So I think it’s obvious by now that I have an unhealthy obsession with statement earrings! These are the perfect summer colour and will dress up the plainest of outfits, one lobe at a time. Tip: keep the rest of your accessories to a minimum when wearing statement earrings.
