Meet Trish

Welcome to The Savvy Sartorialist!

I’m Trish O’Sullivan an Irish fashion and lifestyle blogger, personal stylist and marketing consultant based in Galway city. I created The Savvy Satorialist in late 2016 while living in Dublin to share my love of fashion and hopefully inspire others through my personal style.

Finding myself in my early 30’s and in a job that wasn’t providing the creative outlet I was craving, I knew I needed to make a change. The one constant in my life has always been my passion for fashion so I quit my job, began a course in personal and editorial styling and founded The Savvy Sartorialist. With a Bachelors degree and a Masters in Marketing another passion of mine is Digital Marketing and content creation. So really my blog is a creative outlet where all my passions combine!

Over the last year I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with some amazing brands including Daniel Wellington, Chrysalis, Happy Socks, Instax, Jord and more. With 10 years experience across marketing and management consulting, I now work as an independent marketing consultant and content creator as well as managing my blog.

Like most people, I have a limited budget to spend on fashion but I want to show you that doesn’t mean you need to compromise on style. When it comes to shopping I think carefully about what I buy ensuring it works with my personal style and to make sure it’ll stand the test of time. I’m also a big advocate of not buying something just because it is “on trend”. My ethos is all about being clever in your purchases, knowing what suits you and being creative with what you already own hence the name “The Savvy Sartorialist”!

You can expect to see lots of personal style, trend reports and shopping posts with some travel and lifestyle thrown in for good measure! I love the fantasy and escapism of high fashion but I am a high street girl at heart. Expect lots of inspiration on how to recreate that high end look from my favourite high street shops like Zara, H&M, Topshop, & other stories and Mango.

Thanks for reading this far, if there is something you would like me to cover on the blog or you would just like to chat, drop me a line!

Stylishly yours,

Trish xx
